The basic course is presented in four 6-hour sessions from 0830 to 1530 on Wednesday, Friday, Monday and Wednesday. The weekend is left open for practice observations and studying. The A.S.A. 107 module is held Thursday, Friday and Saturday. There are ten StarPilot86 calculators and twenty Davis Sextants available for student use during the course. Rude Star Finders, Artificial Horizons, Universal Plotting Sheets and Sight Reduction Tables are also available for use during the course. Students may bring their own sextants, StarPilot86 calculators and Tables if so desired.
