The Chapman School offers the details of these vessels in good faith but cannot guarantee or warrant the accuracy of this information nor warrant the condition of each vessel. All vessels are sold in “as is, where is” condition and are subject to price change or withdrawal without notice. Advertisements stating "not running" are sold as such and do not currently run.  We do not have a service department and no repairs of any kind may be performed on Chapman School property.  Have a plan in place to remove the vessel before making an offer.  Masted sailing vessels and over height vessels can only be towed by water.  Boats must be removed with proof of owner transfer within 5 days of purchase.  Please note photos are not to scale.

Description: Powered by a merCruiser 260hp alpha 1.  Engine does not run.  The boat was infested with honey bees.  We had a professional bee keeper remove them and they were saved.  The cabin will need some work to clean up the damage caused by the bees.  Exterior of the boat is in pretty decent shape for her age.  The aft section of the cockpit is a removeable hatch.  The coring in this hatch is soft but usable.  If you're looking for a nice project, this is it.  This model is known to be a very good mid sized offshore boat.  Does not come with trailer.

Description:  Powered with twin 5.7L merCruiser 260hp straight inboards.  Engines were repowered about 8 years ago and the boat was never used after they were installed.  She will need the carbs cleaned and new batteries to get her running again.  I am sure a full service should be done because of how long she has been sitting.  There are no engine hatches on the boat.  She is definitely a project, but well worth the effort.  Nice layout for offshore fishing.  Call us for an appointment to see her.

Description:  Powered with twin 5.0L merCruiser straight inboards.  She has not been started up in about 15 months.  The carburetors were fogged and fuel stabilizer was added when she was donated to us.  I'm quite certain you will need new batteries and a full service on both engines to get them up and running again.  We used her on the hard to teach systems in our program over the last year.  We have now decided to sell her.  She has not been in the water or started in about 15 months.  Boat is in really nice condition for her age.  Comes with a bimini top, microwave, windlass, clarion stereo, and a triple axel trailer.  Nice layout for fishing or cruising with the family.  Call us to schedule an appointment to see her.

              Port-Needs New Oil Pan

Model: Topaz 29

Hull Material: Fiberglass
Layout: Express
Interior Upholstery: Average
Exterior Upholstery: Poor
Electronics: VHF/FF/GPS
Equipment: Tower with Controls
                     Windlass, AC
Description:  Powered with twin Volvo TAMD41P-A diesel inboards.  The port is a 2005 and the stbd. is a 2006.  It was reported that boat engines have less than 30 hours since installation.  However, the port engine developed a leak in the oil pan.  It was reported that the engine will run but will need the oil pan replaced.  Due to the fact the oil leaks out into the bilge, we will not demonstrate this engine.  The boat overall needs a good waxing and some upholstery work in the cockpit.  Batteries will also need replacing.  A new aluminum fuel tank was replaced in 2005 as well.  Great layout for fishing or just cruising.  In the water for your inspection.  Call us to schedule an appointment.

Description:  Powered with twin merCruiser 5.7L fresh water cooled straight inboardds.  Both engines are very clean and should run, but will need basic tune up's, carb's cleaning.  She has a generator, air conditioning, Garmin GPS, VHF radio, stereo, and a windlass.  All the options you could want for a family weekend out on the water.  Some mold and mildew are present in the cabin from being closed up this summer.  Cockpit upholstery and canvas will need some attention.  If you're looking for a nice family express cruiser that needs some TLC, come down and check her out.  Most of these were produced as sterndrives.  Fortunately, this boat is true inboards.
